Play High Resolution Mobile Games in Low Resolution Handset
This trick is helpful for those who wants to play high resolution games on their mobile but are restricted to do so because of poor display resolution. Well if you are here than of course nothing to worry. Now you can play those games with the trick involved to change the game resolution according to your needs. Here is the procedure:
- Using an archiver such as WinRAR , open the jar file.
- Once you have opened the jar, you will see a foldercalled 'META-INF'. Open this folder.
- In the META-INF folder there will be one file called 'MANIFEST.MF'. Drag this file onto your desktop and openit in notepad.
- Now you must know 2 things to edit the file. First, you must know the original resolution of the game. Ususally this information canbe found on the author's website. Second, you must know the resolution of your screen. Then type the following two lines at the end of the text in the MANIFEST.MF file:
Nokia-MIDlet-Original-Display-Size: www,xxx
Nokia-MIDlet-Target-Display-Size: yyy,zzz
In the example above 'www,xxx' represents the original resolution of the game. 'yyy,zzz' represents the resolution of your phone's display.
- Now save the changes in the MANIFEST.MF file and drag it back into the META-INF folder in your jar file to overwrite the old one.
- That's it! Now install the jar to your phone and enjoyyour full screen game...

Vodafone launches mobile wi-fi device
The device contains a sim slot to connect to the 3G network and five users can then connect their computers, mobile gaming devices, digital music players to the device over wi-fi to enjoy 3G speeds, the company claimed.
“The Vodafone R201 is designed to provide customers with an advantage of connecting and communicating on-the-go,” said Kumar Ramanathan, chief marketing officer of Vodafone Essar.
The device has a battery life of up to four hours and allows users to enjoy uninterrupted 3G internet services at a speed of up to 7.2 mbps on high-speed downlink packet access enabled devices.
Priced at Rs.5,500, this device is powered by battery, mains or USB along with plug and plays software of 128 MB flash memory, the company said.
