It is certainly a war of dominance and whoever wins can be certain to win accolades from the cricketing world for its all round show in the match. Cricket has become the game of big time money and this was amply reflected in the just concluded auction of the player where many Indian and foreign players got more than million dollars for one year stint with the players.

Meanwhile India lost the toss again as expected and South Africa decided to bat. With a reassured bowling attack with Zaheer Khan, Nehra and and Munaf Patel, India can be assured that the opponents cannot go for huge total in the limited fifty overs that is to be played here.View Blog
But Sreesanth’s absence can play spoilsport with the bowling as the boy from Kerala has done particularly well in the last two test matches that the player has played.
And that seems to be true even now as Ashish Nehra the old warhorse of the Indian team who is recalled every now and then has given away fourteen runs in the very first over that he has done here.
Zaheer Khan must be feeling angry as the lead Indian bowler had given only four runs in the first over of the match.
I must admit here that the fast bowlers here in exception of Zaheer Khan may not be that effective. Munaf Patel who is known for his wayward bowling can also gift some good runs to South African batsmen, particularly Smith and Amla both of whom are known to exploit any poor bowling that comes their way.
Right now captain Smith and bearded batsman of the team Hashim Amla are at the crease and are scoring runs effortlessly.
Wow Ashish Nehra strikes in his very second over and the fourth over of the game. Smith is gone. He scored only 11 runs.
Meanwhile a commentator on cricinfo describes Smith’s ouster in the following words, “Kamikaze from Smith. That's a horror shot. A horrendous shot. He was caught at slip, but that was not an outside edge. Smith charges down the track and across, and gets a delivery that was not there for the drive, around off stump. He tries to hoick it across the line, without being in any position to play the shot. He gets a top edge that loops high and nestles in Rohit Sharma's hands at the lone slip. Smith is not Zaheer's bunny today. He has ended up being his own bunny for a change. Smith c Smith b Smith”.
