It is quite annoying sometimes when CD/DVD auto runs when inserted in the drive. Well this feature of Windows can be disabled by advanced configuration.
Steps are:
- Go to Start --> Run
- Type 'gpedit.msc' without quotes
- A window appears with two panels. Click on 'Computer Configuration' in left panel.
- Click 'Administrative templates'.
- Click 'System'.
- Now look in the right panel, you will find a entry 'Turn off Autuplay'. All you have to do is just enable it.
- Restart
