Guys,all u know now am using lg optimus one which is an android fone.
actually i was using nokia 5235 which is running in s60v5 platform.
i want to tell that am now really regretting bcoz of this fone.
i think i was addicted to my 5235
so am going to compare both these fones
it may helpfull for those.who switching from symbian to android
!!!!Problems of android over symbian!!!!
1. there is no direct java support on android..we can use java emulator..but it will not give u good experience(bcoz touch sensitivity is not good in that emulator)
so if u want to use good java applications like operamini by dg sc team,dnt buy android
2. u cant use wap connections in android phones..means i am also nt able to use my vodafone live in my lg optimus(its a big problem of my bcoz i am a user of vl unlimited 5 rs plan) i asked the reviews of optimus in reviews section..but no one told abt dis
3. battery backup is not good in android phones.me getting hardly getting 20hrs backup even using in ultra low brightness..in my 5235 i was getting 2 days backup in 50% brightness. i think amnt of mAh is not considerable in android devices
4. my optimus backside heats vey fastly in normal usage and charging time..its very irritating to me.
5. ucweb sux in speed and user inerface is not good in uc.
6. There is no themes in android.
7. Its not easy to flash android firmware.
!!!!advantages of android over symbian!!!!
1. Good user interface with live home screen.
2. High speed youtube streaming and high speed application running.
3. High speed processing
Conclusion!!!
If u want to enjoy and feel the power use capasitive touch screen with paid gprs,go for android
If u want to utilise ur fone with java and if u r used s60 for a long time and want a good battery backup,then undoubtly go for symbian..
But nokia cant provide these type of fasilities like capaisitve touch,wifi in 10 k
But the value of nokia remains always if.it has symbian platform.
